2018/19 GOALS GALORE COMP RULES

I know last seasons comp only finished a couple of days ago but I wanted to make a couple of tweaks to next seasons comp, assuming the 10 who entered last season want to enter it again in August.

A) Have a 10% prize (As well as the 12 points) for anyone who gets ALL 8 games correct in the same weekend (Shared if more than one gets all 8 correct) (Edited for John) ;-)
or
B) Leave the prize money split as it is
C) Introduce a rule where any winnings MUST be forwarded to Phil within 7 days
or
D) Everyone pay Phil £40 up front (£30 if we get 12 or 13 this time) by the opening round of matches and we send our bets to him to place.

Mark - Yes - B - D
Lee - Yes - B - D
Barry - Yes - A - D

Frank - Yes - A -C

Can you please post on this thread if you are going to enter next season (Yes or No) and then choose firstly between A or B, then choose between C or D.

Even better mate. We could reduce it down to £30 each if the ten from this year return and the two new ones enter and run it over 36 weeks.
Or if we can get 13 entrants, that would be £30 each and the comp would run for 39 weeks.

I Can't see what was wrong with how we've been doing it for the last few years,Was there that many that didn't pay until the last minute.

I prefered it with the if you get 8 correct at least it is something to do with the comp ie; both teams to score

But that is only my opinion I will obviously go along with whatever gets decided

Getting 8 correct would STILL get you 12 points that particular week, John but put you in place for an extra prize at the end of the season. That would be welcoming should you not win anything else. I just thought an extra potential prize spread the money a bit more.
As for the returns, we ALL place a bet so winnings get paid immediately.
No reason for anyone not to send it to Phil weeks or months later is there.

Only my opinion mate whatever the rules are at the start thats what they are and I will be in.

I did mean if anyone gets 8 correct they win [share] the ten per cent, I agree about the payments,But I've always paid any money owed along with the syndicate money every 4 weeks,But I now bank on line so thats not a problem,Only chucking my view in mate

OK pal. I thought you had read it you get 10% INSTEAD of the 12 points but I thought it was a way of trying to spread the kitty around a bit more. It's not North Korea here. If someone offers an idea where the comp may benefit, let's vote on it.

Well the majority have voted and over half have gone along with the prize money share out being the same next season and paying Phil beforehand. We just need to find out if we have the same ten or if Phil has got Mozza and Pete to join in. If he does, i'll add my mate John Mc to make 13 and that works out perfect over 13 weeks with us doing 3 bets each.
