| I really can't see this 'favourite pickers' argument........as far as I can see people pick who they think will win.........& shock horror it sometimes happens to be the favourite !!

I'm not critisizing mate just saying, as this is SP based scoring it can only favour bigger prices found IMO. However when we base the scoing on where Nags finish by in large the Favs are always going to score well. For me its nice to see both sides of the Challenge so all get a bite of this massive cherry we support |

| I've told phil my views and he's told me his.... its a struggle to find a format that everyone likes.. me, I'm not keen on 150pts for a 1/17 winner where as a 40/1 2nd in an 8 runner race only scores say 10pts.... that's just me.... but rules are rules.... If picking odds on favs all day long in a "who can tip the most winners comp" is your thing so be it.... To be fair how the hell you can have such short priced favs at such prestigious meetings is beyond me | |

| That said I see you could always add to the argument. . Player 1 picks 1/3 and 2/11 winners scores 300 pts Player 2 picks 12/1 winner scores 100pts Player 2 could always pick the 1/3, 2/11 AND the 12/1 I suppose if they were any good mind | |

That is exactly my point mate.....................I don't see any merit in deliberately avoiding the probable winner just because its odds on with the hope of fluking a 50/1 shot ! For me when I make my picks I don't even look at the prices..................because the horse doesn't know what price he is........ I also agree that some of the prices at Aintree have been strange.............. | |
