Rules the same as last season except for ALL entrants to send Philcanary £30 EACH no later than August 10th. Phil will then place the bets on our behalf.
01) Each week entrants will select EIGHT MATCHES from the Premiership, Championship, Division One, Division Two, Scottish Premier & National League. Sometimes, FA Cup, Scottish League or National League North & South matches will be added to make the numbers up, where they think that both teams will score.
02) Points are scored for each match selected. BOTH teams scoring in a match will earn 1 point. If BOTH teams score in ALL EIGHT matches, an additional bonus of FOUR POINTS will be added to the persons score for that week giving TWELVE points for that set of selections.
03) The competition will run from 11th August 2018 until 4th May 2019, dates to be confirmed. This will make the competition run for 39 weeks in total. All returns will go into the kitty.
04) Your choices must be posted on the appropriate thread by 12pm on Saturday morning or they will be classed as void and the 8 default matches will be used.
05) Once posted there will be no editing or alterations, or your entry will be classed as void and the default matches will be used. IF BAD WEATHER CAUSES POSTPONEMENTS, no one should be penalised for posting early. There will be a lucky dip match to cover your postponed match. Lucky dip No's for postponements will be (in order of the fixtures i post) Match 5, Match 15, Match 25, Match 35. Match 6, Match 16, Match 26 & Match 36, depending on number of games postponed. Non posts will be covered by these match numbers 5, 6, 15, 16, 25, 26, 35 & 36.
06) Bets. People will choose a £10 Bet of their choice each time it's their bet and forward it to Phil who will place the bet.
07) Prizes. All members will name a team from each of the SIX Leagues named in rule No 1 BEFORE the season starts. Naming the champions of each league will score one point, runners up 2 and so on. The member with the LOWEST combined score next May will win 10% of the overall kitty.
The breakdown of the REMAINING returns will be as follows:-
Returns split 80/20. 80% split between the top 3, 20% between the others.

1) 60%
2) 30%
3) 10%
other entrants 20% equally shared.
08) Anyone planning on going away for a week or fortnight before the thread is up, send me a PM or e-mail me at my screen name + sky.com with your selections. It will probably be me. If you don’t, you’ll just get the default matches anyway. ;-)
09) As there are possibly 15 entrants this season, we will have one bet each week until week 30, after which we will have TWO bets on weeks 31, 33, 35, 36, 37 & 38, totalling 45 bets in total.
