World Cup 2014 qualification started up again today with games being played in the Asian zone and it was good news for one of The Front Runners adopted sides Uzbekistan who qualified for the next phase by topping their group after a 1-0 win in Japan.

Other qualifiers to keep an eye on were Iraq who won 6 out of 6 games in their group and Jordan who went through from the same group at the expense of China.

Full list of qualifiers for the next phase are:

Our friends from Samoa may struggle to make the 2014 finals after they lost 10-1 at home earlier today to those footballing giants from Tahiti!!!! and England thought their group at the Euro`s was tough!

Looks like Frontrunners "favourite" Samoa will have to wait till 2018 to fulfill their World Cup dream after suffering a 5-0 defeat to Vanuatu.

In the South American qualifier Argentina started their campaign well with a 4-0 win against Ecuador, the goals came from Aguero, Higuain, Messi and Di Maria.
